Ooops, I Did It Again..!!

After reading so many pages of journals and books, I came to realization that the more we read the more we realized that we are just an unintelligent human being. And that time I always ask myself 'apsal la aku tak study mende ni betul-betul dulu?'

I remember an Alec Bourne's quote: It is possible to store the mind with a million facts and still be entirely uneducated... hahh... Alec, you are totally true!!



I knew it. I could never wake up on time!!.. I set the alarm on my corroded Nokia. With a new aim to wake up early and shoooosh to school. Hmmm.. 'hot hot chicken shit' la kot. Ooooor may be I should consider buying a new phone, which is an enticing thing to do this month. Obvious options: Nokia Nokia and Nokia. N96 is such a beauty.. with 16GB memory and 5MPix Carl Zies-lensed camera, and live TV, mp3, owh its just like a cute combo of: Ipod, Sony digi cam, LCD TV, radio, GPS system, HP PDA, in ONE... now who can resist that?



So there it goes, I missed my Geomechanics class. But to ease my guilt, there will be another short-course on Geomechanics offered by Mining School, which I think is more relevant to me yaa.. (the former geomechanics is offered by Civil, which may not be, even 50%, relevant: saje nak sedapkan hati la kannn)..

So instead of being in a class and listening to a boring lecture, I headed straight to UNSW library. Got myself some books and read a few pages.. :).. yeay..

I Hate Her...

"when you are in love things make even more sense". I got this line from the best seller book. Actually it is right. I knew it when i fell in love for the first time. I was seventeen when i liked one girl. We used to study in same class and we are of similar levels. Though i was not good in study but she was brilliant in it. I fell in love with here when i saw her for the first time, all i wanted to impress her which was not an easy task. She had a wonderful look, like of an angel. Her big eyes, curly hair wow made me mad. I knew i love her but failed to express. One day i collected all the senses and said what i feel about her. I said i love her. She accepted my love proposal and we started living our life in our manner. But one day one guy of our class proposed her, he was handsome, more importantly he was rich, richer than me. I thought she would deny his proposal but my hunch went wrong. She said she too love him. I knew she betrayed me. I knew she forget the promise we made together. Maybe this is the rule of love, i thought and wept a lot. I wept because i was ashamed, i was ashamed because this is how god repaid to those who believe in love. The day she betrayed me, i made a promise that i would not fall in love again. I hate those who got their love because i never got mine. But now I have found the love of my life...

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2008

I went to Easter Show last Sunday. I have to say, I had fun and jolly good time there. Let me tell you a little bit about Easter Show:

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is the largest annual event staged in Australia, attracting an average of 900,000 Showgoer each year. Sydney Showground, at Sydney Olympic Park is transformed to play host to a festival that is unique to Australia and its diverse cultural and rural heritage.

The Show runs for 14 days over the Easter period, starting the day before Good Friday, Thursday 20 March and running until Wednesday 2 April. It is a pinnacle event enjoyed by Australians of all ages.

Each year, the Show aims to highlight Australian agricultural excellence through Competitions and education, while promoting national and international awareness of the country’s proud rural heritage.

Approximately 15,000 competitors submit some 35,000 entries for judging in over 40 diverse Sydney Royal Competitions spanning livestock, domestic animals, District Exhibits, apiculture, poultry, arts, woodchopping and horticulture to name but a few.

The Show is a festival of diversity, culture and lifestyle and a celebration of the legacy that is Australian agriculture. Sydney Showground literally overflows with entertainment, excitement and educational opportunities.

See that ride? That ride is called Air Crash!.. I have had enough of RIDE!!!! Phew, my worst 2 minutes nightmare..

The First Day in Sydney, Australia

Hmm,

Now I have realized that aging is a strong factor that influences our decision and the way we look at life. I never thought that life would be this challenging.

Thanks to those who have helped me dealing with the grieving situations (guys, Sydney is not that bad, now, as I thought it was several weeks ago). Now I am back as a normal person (I supposed...). My new friends in Sydney: Kak Nany & Abg Mat, Sham & Fiz, Kak Noriah & Stephen, Azli & wife, Lokman & wife, Abg Rahim & Kak Zura, Farid & wife, Azlan & Zurin, Hazizan, Shah Datuk & wife, Hamzah, Apai, Awe, Manor, Avinash, Mohamad, Altaf, Abdoul, Mustahfiz, Hamid, Joshua, my Prof. Sheik Rahman... I hope to find more friends here. I remember, Aristotle's quote: Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods.

But to all my good ole friends: all UTP, PETRONAS, YM, SPECIAL friends. You guys have given me enough strength to deal with my life. Thank you friends!!..

Argh... Thinking that I am going to be in Sydney for the next 3 years is gruesome. But there will be light at the end of the dark road.

Europe Visit 101

In October 2005... I had a training in Edinburgh, Scotland.. Then sambil menyelam minum air.. we extended the trip to London, Switzerland - Zurich, Lucerne, France - Paris, Italy - Rome.. Each of them have different touch and personality.. More picture to come..
